Recent studies have shown meditation helps reduce stress, anxiety, and improve some areas of emotional health such as optimism and self-image.  Meditation can improve our attention span and enhance sleep. If you take care of your mind, your mind takes care of you. Meditation also improves your body by heightening your senses. You become aware of how your body feels and responds to different situations by being reflective about yourself and others. Meditation can also lessen discomfort or pain and helps you to learn the interconnections of how the breath affects so many areas of your physiology. Who doesnโ€™t want a better mind and body? You are the one who can only experience the rewards if you take the time to do it.

Stephanie is a happy mother to two amazing girls. She has been an enthusiastic learner about Eastern Philosophy and Religions for over 30 years. She has been trained in Physical Therapy with a passion for high-level functioning in our environment.
